Gearin for mondello is 14t front and a roughly 44t rear. Thats the basic sizes, when ya get more into it ya might change +1 or -1 on the back.
What size chain are ya using, I might have a spare one here i'll give ya for right money. They are 50euro new, steep enough.

Not sellin any chains, Just the sprocket.
well now that i think of it you'll have to change your chain anyway. your standard one wont fit around the larger rear sprocket. Joys of racing.
What other changes are ya making

Well i gotta sort out the suspension. Its pretty soft. Im reading the link you put up on settin up suspension. Very useful.
Need set of wheels so i can get wets, front paddock stand,
exhaust hanger, bigger bank balance, and now a new chain.
Il buy that sprocket if its going thanks.
But i gotta sort out that suspension!!

As we said the other day, i'd say change the oil in the forks and see if that does the job. We'll give ya a dig out with them when your doing them.
The rear shock should get ya out for a while. They use the rear shock as standard on RVF bikes round the TT course so they are'nt the worst.
Its all money bro, We are all still buying bits and pieces for the bikes. We put a white board up in the shed and wrote down everything we needed and just got stuff when we had the money. the list is frightening at the start but ya get through it. Just make sure you shop around and get good prices.

Here's where I get all my stuff, you can down load the price list. Rick is really good for advice as well. If your going for a new chain and sprockets get the 520pitch ones for racing 14T front/ 44T rear, their cheaper as well. The std one is 525 and is way heavier. Rick does a fork upgrade kit for 80sterling with new oil and springs for your weight. Well worth it. And we can show yea how to put them in. Then get some perilli super coarsa pro's. Change your brake fluid regularly and use EBC HH pads. That'll get yea going for a start. Tyres, suspension and brakes are the most important bits to have right.

Standard forks are great. Its just that their sprung lighter for the jap market. New oil and springs that suit your own weight will make a big difference.

I think that ill do that now. because i have a lot to do to the bike and new springs sound cheaper than fork upgrade. But 80 sterling doesnt sound bad too.
You really know your way around the bike. Are you a mechanic??
I saw on saturday that you got the motrax camera. Is it any good?

Not a mechanic, but been fixing my own bikes for nearly 16years. And hav'ent killed myself yet Very Happy . Enjoy working on the bikes as much as i do riding them to be honest. Have a big interest in those rvf's as well which helps.

That camera is class, works really well. Check out our 1st race on the main page thats the camera on my bike. Dogs box has them for 75euro.
