Track day 1st of may

Any of yea doing this one? If so what group we going into? Was thinking novice in the morning to practice lines etc, then Inters afternoon to put it into practice

I'll do pit crew, wish i could get out. but i'll have to wait.

Onto mondello today. Only one place left in novice and I got it. There will always be a few people pulling though. So get your names in lads. Booked myself in for the track day on the 26th of june as well, full day in the inters group. That date is filling up as well!

I'll have to wait and see how the rebuild is going but would like to get out on that 26th of June track day. We'll see.

would love to do this one but i want to get the bike on the dyno and get the valve clearance done before i get out again i'll be one of the pit crew for the day

Good call. I'll be getting mine dyno'd soon. We should get them all done together, might get some sort of discount?

Dont mind him Dar, him and podge txt me last night and said they where'nt going to do the track day cause they didnt need to now cause once i'm out of the way the Kawasaki side of the garage is top dog.

The kawasaki side is growing further,with bubbas bike,poor old yamaha is on its own

I would be on a yamaha if they made a decent 400.
If i was in your class it would be R6 all the way. See if this new pre-injection class comes in

Danny in DLM santry is very good. A lot of the racers use him. Was 40euro for the one I got 2 months ago. I should have the new bits I ordered for the carbs by the end of the week. Ruuning the bike as it is for the track day. Then setting it up for the dyno, so should be ready in two weeks time.

As long as its driveable should be ok. You'll need a road tire on the rear. The wet would get chewed up. You can use the wheels on my bike for the dyno if your stuck.

Would i get away with the damaged forks, They're not leakin. do ya need to have full fairings on.

You'll be grand with the bike the way it is. They lock the front wheel and use the back wheel to drive the dyno. So no need for fairing or anything like that. Just make sure the chain is in good condition and properly adjusted. Can loose up to 8bhp with a dodgy chain alone!

Thats great news! Paddy has finially joined the 400s! You'll love that thing in the corners, you can get away with murder on them and they rairly bit you back. One set of tyres will nearly do you the whole year as well. Thats a nice clean example and idea of work done to it or what power she putting out?

I know i've seen them with 3 spoke wheels before, I taught they where a honda wheel. Let the games begin.........

That 17" back wheel is off a vfr750 common mod done to those bikes. They origionally come with an 18" wheel and its impossible to get decent rubber for them.

id imagine ya wood need the top fairing at least to give an acurate amount of air going into the airbox!

You might be in luck , as im getting a spare back wheel and swingarm with this bike.I wont have the bike until next sunday,im also getting a 92 cbr 400 , an 87 nsr 250 and a 03 sv 650.Just got a ducati st2 02 on yesterday.Im not stuck for a bike now.
